Cats! Cats that are also hot beverage safe drinking mugs! What could be better than tea/coffee/chocolate and a kitty -- in one hand? I've added some new cat mugs to my store, and will be adding more in the next few days. In the meantime, meet Mungojerry, Pickles, and Oh Lawd He Comin'.

The cat mugs I make have evolved over the years, becoming more and more fully sculpted into the shapes of cats. I've been able to do that and yet keep them comfortable to drink out of. Each has a curled tail/handle:

The last cat's name is a reference to the famous Feline Chonk Chart. It's by far the widest cat mug I've made, holding more than 22oz. So if you know someone who really needs a cat mug/beer stein, Oh Lawd is here for you.

Regardless of whether you want these, or Buck, Mrs. Tibbits, or Tuco (coming this weekend), I hope you get one and enjoy using it as much as I enjoyed making them.

New cat mugs! Specifically, I'm launching my line of Chonky Cat Mugs, designed to be even more cute and comfortable to drink from than my prior cat mugs.

Since this is a Hanukkah sale, I will of course have Hannukiahs (often called "menorahs") available for purchase. With candles!

Meet the SpoonLu!

I like to cook, and that means that I also like making pottery for cooking. While I make many bits of "chefware", among the simplest, yet the most useful are spoonrests. I started out making sluggy spoonrests.

But, I wanted to make a special spoonrest as a gift for some friends. So I modeled it after their long-haired black cat, Lucifer. He's friendly, and wide enough for a ladle or spider. Of course, I made extras, and I have them for sale on my store.

Several years ago I was exhibiting at Cole Valley Fair, and noticed that a lot of kids looked at my adult cat mugs but at $40 each they couldn't afford them. And so my first litter of Kitten Cups was born.

These cups are modelled on my own cat Wayne's fuzzy black face and yellow eyes.

Now, because I made these specifically for kids, I don't sell them in my online store and they have special pricing: adults pay $16, but if you're 12 or under you pay only $8. I'll have a litter of six kitten cups at the OPA Holiday Sale this Saturday.

These Kitten Cups and I will be at the Clayfolk Show & Sale starting this Friday. There's only six little kitten cups, though, and five adult Cat Mugs, so if you want to secure one, make sure to be there Friday night!

FuzzyChef Pottery will have a set of shelves in the Group Booth at the show. If you want to find me, though, I'll probably be working the checkout line.
